I got a lot of compliments when I wore this at the hospital and the gown was very practical. I got a size S and it was a bit too big, wide so if you’re petite buy a size down.Wearing this at the hospital after delivery made me feel so much more myself and put together than wearing a hospital gown. It was also so easy to nurse in, so I wore it at home several times the first week as well. The robe I continue to wear often as it makes for a very easy nursing cover up and I love just rolling out of bed, throwing on the robe, and getting my coffee without trying to figure out putting on something else to wear (especially these first few weeks when I'm in between maternity and normal clothes and getting dressed takes some trial and error). Soft, slightly stretchy cotton and easy to wash. I'm 5'2" and 145lbs at 40 weeks pregnant (115lbs pre-pregnancy) - the small fit a bit big but the extra roominess and length was comfortable. I didn't feel like I was totally swimming in it. The robe hits me a few inches past the knee.Beautiful, soft, but was stuffed into a flat envelope, bursting at the seams. For the cost of this item, it should of been shipped with more care and professionalism.Biggest con of this item is the snap-off straps. A little difficult to do in the early days/wee hours of nursing. Trying to snap them back was challenging. I prefer something with a slit to this type. So its not 5 stars for me. It did work well to wear in hospital when walking to and from my room to NICU but a slit type opening would have worked even better. The gown and the robe are absolutely wonderful! My only issue was I wish it had buttons down the top in the front instead of just the shoulders for breastfeeding and skin to skin. I have continued to wear it at home and just turn it around. It fits the same and my daughter goes on and on about how pretty it is both ways. Lol. The robe will be a staple king after breastfeeding! I love it! It was so functional and comfy to labor and walk in.Perfect for the hospital after I delivered my baby.I’m currently 34 weeks pregnant and wear a size large in maternity clothes. Based on other reviews that this gown/robe runs big, I bought the s/m size and it fits great and even has a bit of room to accommodate my growing belly. I am impressed with the quality of the fabric, it has a bit of weight to it. Other reviews said that it isn’t soft but I found it to be a very nice soft cotton. I would definitely recommend!I ordered this two days ago and it came in so quickly! I didn't know what to expect based on some of the other reviews. I was hearing the nursing gown was too big or too small. So, I thought I'd leave a review and give my opinion. First off, I am 5'6 38 weeks pregnant and I weigh around 175. Before I was pregnant I was around 160. I am average build and curvy. I ordered the dress and robe combo in the small/medium size. I am glad I did. The dress fits nicely and honestly there is still plenty of room to grow. I would say if you are petite or under 150, this may be big on you. So, keep that in mind. If I am being honest the size I got is more for ladies on the average to curvy side. You can tie it for a more fitted look. The robe fits well and is roomy. It's so comfortable. I also bought the matching swaddle and hat for my baby girl. All of it is well made. I paid around 100 dollars for everything so the only con is it is somewhat on the pricey side. Overall, I highly recommend this product. I hope this review helps you.
