I like this type of nursing shirt (with the double layer at the top) and for the most part love the LaClef brand--the shirts wash well, are flattering, and most importantly are easy to use for nursing without looking like a frumpy nursing top--but this style of nursing shirts do not fit the same way as other styles. I've been a Large in all other LaClef shirts regardless of style (short sleeve, long sleeve, etc.) but a large in this one hangs on me like a sack--really big. I ordered two different colors and they both fit that way, so I think it may be an inconsistent sizing issue with this particular type of shirt. I am returning the two I bought and will try a medium. If that fits properly, I'll update the review to indicate as much. If it doesn't fit, I'll update to indicate that it must just be the style of shirt.UPDATE: The medium in this style fits like the large of other LaClef shirts. I'm therefore revising my review from 3 stars to 4 stars.Update: Absolutely love this shirt. It arrived in perfect condition. It fits true to size and is not tight around the midsection. Nursing in this is super comfortable and the double layer for nursing is easy to use and discrete. Also I was afraid it would stretch too much from pulling it up and down so much but it washes right back into place and the give is super slight after lots of use throughout the day.After reading my review (below) a customer service representative contacted me and offered to replace the shirt. Will update my review again once I receive the replacement product.I was so excited to get this shirt that I tried it on right away and took the tag off but that was a mistake!!! There is a hole in the shirt so now I'm stuck with it because I removed the tag. What a shame because this could be a great shirt, and had it not been so poorly made I probably would have ordered more in different colors/Really like this shirt overall. I wish it were a little slimmer and longer, but that is a typical problem for me as I have a long torso. Still looks nice-- similar to the regular nursing tees by this brand, but much more interesting and flattering with the cold shoulder design. The material is soft and comfortable. Rayon, so of course don't dry it if it fits you pretty well. I find it easy to nurse discreetly in this shirt, as long as my daughter isn't constantly pulling the fabric around (well, she usually does, but it's easier and less hot than using a receiving blanket).I like this shirt a lot. I am pregnant and it fits my belly really nicely. But it's also the kind of material that drops naturally and I know it will work well after pregnancy, too. I pulled the nursing panel out because it looked odd and kept interfering with the actual fit of the shirt. I'd definitely order more for post pregnancy and probably utilize the panel for breastfeeding but it was just getting in my way for the time being. I love the flowy material and, as I said, it's a major plus that it accommodates a pregnant belly and will still fit after pregnancy, without really looking like a maternity shirt. The price is right and all the color options are nice.The fold of the shirt shapes your bra in a strange way. If I wear my nursing bra with leak pads, you see the weird pad shape and if you wear no pads you see too much. You have to constantly adjust the shirt but the style is beautiful. Even though it has that issue I still don't regret buying it. I have it in 2 colors and I really like it.I'm 5'6 and 150lbs and 34DD at 4months postpartum. I still have a postpartum belly so my chief concern is that shirts don't cling to my stomach unflatteringly. This shirt does not do that! The M fit perfectly. It is loose fitted without looking even remotely like it is maternity clothing and best of all the material is lightweight enough to keep me comfortable when Texas summer rolls around. Very pleased and will be purchasing more!I'm SO happy with this purchase! The material breaths, doesn't cling, and my first son can nurse comfortably while the bun in the oven is covered! This shirt fits great as well, pre-pregnancy I would generally wear a medium so I purchased a large to accommodate for all the growing I still have left, and I'm confident I'll still be wearing it after baby comes too. (purchased in July baby due in November).This is a quality nursing top that fit well and looked stylish. I have received compliments from other moms who were surprised this was a nursing top. My only caution is that your bra straps can peek through given the large shoulder holes.
