I am 16 weeks pregnant and recently grew out of my pre-pregnancy bras. I consulted some friends and they told me to purchase a Kindred Bravely bra that I can transition into postpartum/nursing as well. I really love this bra. one weird thing, though is that I ordered twilight and I definitely got mocha, I don’t really mind, but thought that was a little odd .Only reason why I did 4 stars instead of 5 is that the padding of the bra gets in the way when trying to pump or feed baby. But I love this bra with how comfortable and soft it is. Also, super grateful that it came with an extender! If you hate underwire bras (like myself) this is the bra for you!I usually don’t write reviews but I had to review this bra. It is the best bra I’ve ever had and that’s including regular bras. This bra is very very supportive, it keeps the girls lifted (40DDD). And the side straps/panels are very wide. Definitely worth the money and definitely a great buy!!!!As others have stated, this bra could fit better. I am a 30/32 H; currently second trimester, 5'5" 136 lbs. I ordered the "busty" small as recommended in the provided chart, but the cups are too small; my breasts are smashed together in there and have red marks all over at the end of the day. Meanwhile, the band is verging on loose; on the very tightest setting it fits ok, but rolls up during the day, so it never looks like the photos with the cute thick band at the bottom. Instead, you just see sagging, overstuffed cup. Like others, it could be worse; it is far more comfortable than a wired bra, and to be fair I have yet to find a non-wired bra that provided me any sort of decent support and didn't smash my bust together into an uncomfortable uniboob. It's comfortable enough for home wear. It just sucks being pregnant and having a big belly with a big droopy unsupported bust hanging over making me look like a giant ball, whereas with the right support due to my small size I could actually look cute and create a division between bust and belly. Anyway. This is primarily a maternity bra I suppose, so probably more intended for the first few months after and staying at home more. Probably going to resort back to wired bra for now.I've ordered a number of different nursing bras from different brands and this is the winner, hands down. First of all, it actually fits. My boobs were 32DDD pre-pregnancy, and now, who knows? Every bra I've tried on no matter how big has not been enough in the cups to contain me. This bra really rides the line of being supportive and looking normal under clothing while also being very comfortable to wear. It costs a bit more than some others, but I think it's worth it to just buy one of these instead of spending the same amount of money on a few other models that aren't as good. I love it so much. 10 stars. It’s definitely comfortable and effective. Not the prettiest bra, but I’m finding that’s a hard request when looking for nursing bras for large breasted women. I’m wearing a 40 DD thanks to my new pregnant body and the busty XL fits great. I know my bust will get bigger when baby comes and there is plenty of room to spare. Side note, not the best bra for low cut or even moderately lower cut shirts as the top part of the bra peaks out. Does keep unruly nipples at bay.So let me start by saying I’m expecting my second child, and nursed my first for 15 months. This ain’t my first rodeo ? but this is definitely the most comfortable and best fitting nursing bra I have EVER purchased and I’ve gone through SOOO many. Maidenform, playtex, hofish, even regular busty bralettes from Lively before they made it in a nursing version but none of them fit as great as this.Like a lot of moms my boobs get huge while my band stays the same. Pre Pregnancy I’m between sizes of 34 & 36 D, the trouble is I have wide shoulders and the girls sit a little more side set so a 36D has more room for the girls but a 34D is always better on my band cause it isn’t to loose. With my daughter I ended up getting into a 34DD-34DDD so I knew this time I really wanted to find something that would be a nice tightness in the band but also have plenty of room for my boobies. Trouble is a lot of nursing bras DONT take this into account.for example I like the Auden seamless nursing bra from target but it is now my second favorite to this because I got a large and it had plenty of hook and eye closures so I could tighten it up in the band but have the wiggle room in my chest, however the band of course stretches out and the extra length of the closures moves around over my spine. The measuring chart here had me thinking I could maybe go with just a medium but I was worried I wouldn’t have the needed cup room as I grow once baby is here and I’m actively nursing, so I went on their main site and had read how busty is a good option for those with smaller bands/bigger cups, or even those with bigger shoulders who might need longer straps. DING DING DING THATS ME!So I got the medium busty here in nude and figured I’d at least try it out with my registry discount. It’s SOOOO comfy! Now I understand why it’s more expensive than my Auden, there’s more quality and time put into the fabric and it’s very well made. I currently have the straps fully extended to be comfortable on my shoulders which is completely fine because they stretch over time and I will need room for my elvie pump.I have the band on the loosest hook and it still rests comfortably on my rib cage without being to tight, and I love knowing as it stretches that I have plenty of hook and eye closures to tighten it up!I hate underwires because they dig into my bigger rib cage and just aren’t ideal for nursing but feel so well supported in this even with some bigger breasts. It’s seamless but the fabric is thicker while still being stretchy to accommodate the changes we go through during pregnancy and breastfeeding.I plan on buying at least one more, if not one in every color because these really are worth the extra money!Like many others, the biggest selling point for these bras is the comfort. The band, although elasticated, doesn’t dig in after being on all day. The straps are somehow also soft, and it supports you well. By far, the most comfortable to wear nursing bra I’ve come across (I’ve tried 4 other brands already). The fact that these come with an extender is sheer brilliance! These bras will grow with you - which makes me wish I’d found them sooner. The reason it’s not a 5 star: because the actual cup size is probably a touch on the small side. I’m already a FF and using the XL (biggest size). It’s a snug fit - but NOT tight. Still, a cup size bigger would be useful. It’s a touch small (I’m larger than it should fit) and it’s still the most comfortable bra I’ve ever worn. It’s the one I reach for every day and the only nursing bra I don’t long to take off at night. I bought a second one.Fits as expected. I've ordered this item to be used as a sleeping nursing bra but it can be used throughout the day too. It is so confortable that I've ordered another one.Really soft and comfy. Even the midwife commented on how nice they felt and looked coming out of my bag.I bought this more for a nursing bra to sleep in but I would use it during the day too, it's supportive enough for me. I'm a 40DD so bought the XL and it's a comfy fit for me. Would buy another and recommend.
